Victims to be given v-wireless

KARACHI: Abdul Majid Haji Muhammad, President of Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) urged PTCL to provide V-phone wireless connections of same landline numbers maintained by the victims of Boulton Market and other markets of affected areas.

Majid, in a press release on Tuesday, highlighted the importance of communication in the business circles and therefore, asked the high officials of PTCL to restore the communication network of arson-hit markets in the business hub of the country.

He said: “on our request, PTCL has ensured and agreed on provision of V-phone wireless connections of same landline numbers to the affected traders on special discount rate for Rs1,000/- instead of Rs3,500/- to restore the connections.”
