PESHAWAR: President German Aids for Afghan Children (GAAC), Dr. Arvis Ain Herd distributed food packs among 900 flood affected families of Madyan in district Swat the other day during his visit to the country.


The food packs included flour, rice, pulses, sugar, ghee, cooking oil, blankets and other items. Country Director of GAAC Afghanistan and Pakistan chapter, Engr. Alam Shahab were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, GAAC President said that flood was a natural calamity and urged the people to display tolerance in these hard times.

He also exchanged sympathies with the flood affected people and inquired after their problems.
Dr.Arvis said that Germany has been through turbulent times and developed the country on self help basis.
