Bulls contribute 106 points to 100 Index

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) witnessed bullish activity as the benchmark KSE-100 Index gained 106 points to close at 9,251.

The market opened with green numbers and remained in the positive territory throughout the session.

The reports of reduction in the cut-off yield on one-year term T-Bills and slashing of the discount rate prompted the investors to take positions.

Today’s market turnover stood at 180 million shares.

Nishat Mills recorded a gain of paisas 99 to finish as today’s volume leader at Rs67.45.

KSE-30 Index surged by 130 points to peg at 9,774.
