United Kingdom keen to invest in Sindh













KARACHI: Britain is keen to invest in infrastructure development, capacity building, technical support and policymaking to attract investors in Sindh.

This was stated by the British Deputy High Commissioner and Director UK Trade and Investment Roberts W Gibson at a meeting with Secretary Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) Younus Dhaga here on Thursday. They discussed the possibilities of British cooperation for attracting investment in the province.

He said the UK will also cooperate in creating awareness about investment potentials of Sindh in Britain. Mr Gibson assured that he will submit all the proposals of SBI to the British government.

SBI officials briefed the UK delegation about investment opportunities in Sindh in fisheries, livestock, dairy, agriculture, coal, energy, and in Karachi education city.—APP
